Backyard Burgers
Reading Program
Backyard Burgers and the CJ PTO want to encourage your child to read. Of course your child's teacher tells them it's important, but we want them to know we think so too!
So, for every 6 books that they put on their readers card and turn in to their teacher, Backyard Burgers will give them a "BakPak" meal for FREE!!!
And they are so excited about you reading that they will give you a meal each time you complete a card.
The child with the most books read from every class, will also recieve a special achievement award.
So get to reading kids!!!!

Smencils and Smarkers!
Smencels are pencils made from recycled newspapers!
They are scented in the following scents:
bubble gum, orange, rootbeer,
watermelon, tropical blast,
cherry, cotton candy,
chocolate, very berry & grape!
Smencils are $1 each.
Smarkers are pens that have 3 different colors of ink, plus
a scented highlighter!
They come in banana, coconut
& chocolate! $2 each
Other fun stuff will include
temporary tatoos, wristbands, necklaces and we are offering a
window sticker that is specifically
for our K-3 buildings!!
****for those of you with kids in
the 4th-6th grade...
our "Bulldog Pups" sticker can
be easier changed to say "K-6"!
Perfect for your cars and/or child's
windows at home!!
We also will have "Go Bulldogs"
paw print signs to go in your yard to show your support of our football team and other teams throughout the year! We hope you will enjoy them!

Our next spirit night is:
October 9th
Chick-fil-A and the CJ Primary K-3
are teaming up!
We had a great turnout for our
first Chick-fil-A Spirit Night!
It was so great that we have
designated the 2nd Thursday
of each month as
Spirit Night
@ Chick-fil-A!
Each month we will send home a
Spirit Night form and ask that
you bring it into either
Chick-fil-A location on
Spirit Night and Chick-fil-A will
donate 20% of the sales from
our school back to us!!
Each month a classroom from each building will win
the right to display the
Chick-fil-A cow for
having the most students
participate in our Spirit Night!!!

Congratulations!!!
Starting in October,
one lucky kid will win a cool Chick-fil-A
t/shirt!!!
Nestle "Go Play"
Labels
We are now collecting the
"Go Play" labels from the Nestle water bottles.
We can turn them in and receive play equipment, ie. balls, jumpropes, etc.
So, start saving them and send them in. We have to group them in 50's, but
we'll take them how ever you
want to send them!!!
We will be giving the play
equipment to the teacher's
for use during recess, not
for the teachers,
but for the kids!!!
So, start collecting!
